There's something kinda cathartic about FINALLY getting a trailer for this show as someone that's been following it since well before the theme song even leaked last January. After it seemed like Nickelodeon was shamelessly doing everything in its power to keep Glitch Techs from seeing the light of day (seriously, I'm talking Korra levels of mismanagement), the show is finally almost here. For those unaware btw, the co-creators of the show actually did a Q/A with someone called TRAFON (the rise and fall of Nickelodeon) a long while back on what we can expect from the show. I'll try to find them and come back with them later, but the big things I can remember are that
>Episodes are mostly self contained, although there's definitely a grander story going on in the background if you pay attention.
>The pilot is a 44 minute episode (not sure if it will count as 2 on Netflix or not)
>Regular episodes are 22 minutes.
>Both creators drew heavy inspiration from things like Ghostbusters and Men in Black.
>The animation WAS in fact one of, if not the primary reason the show was in production for so long, Nickelodeon meddling notwithstanding. The rumors about it being the most expensive show Nickelodeon has ever produced were not confirmed, but weren't denied either.
>For people that care about this sort of thing, they worked very closely with a prominent Muslim culture group in order to most accurately depict the character Zhara (might be remembering her name wrong, but you'll know her when you see her since she's the only one in a hijab).
>They really wanted to invoke that Saturday Morning Action Cartoon when it came to developing the show. To help with this, they brought on as a supervising Producer/Director Ian Graham, who previously held this position on Avatar TLA, Legend of Korra, and Invader Zim.
>In Graham's own words, Glitch Techs is the most excited he's been about helping tell a story since he worked on Avatar. This goes for the animation as well.
