Walt Disney Studios is under massive refurbishment so there's literally nothing to do there apart from Crush Coaster and Tower of Terror in terms of rides, and Mickey and the Magician in terms of shows. Construction work is taking forever and we're gonna get a smaller, cheaper version with less rides of the Marvel and Star Wars areas from the US. It's disheartening.
At least lately WDS is kind of kept alive by the Star Wars Season, that is frankly lackluster in terms of offerings (only one formal meet n greet, two outdoors shows, a few shitty snacks) It's not great but there's at least that in terms of entertainment.
DLP didn't get anything new apart from the Buzz Lightyear ride in 2006- Last year they added a cheaper version of Philarmagic on a small flat screen with barely no effect, no Donald animatronic, in an attempt to not keep Discoveryland Theater empty (the building has decorations from the time of Honey I shrunk the kids and Captain EO intact and the movie is kinda dated so this + the small flat screen gives really shit immersion)
I feel there's very little heart poured into DLP and a lot of things are left in disrepair. Characters meeting opportunities are rare, the costumes are often damaged or badly worn, meet n greet times are very short... Overall the park feels very dated I think.
(on the other hand, some seasonal shows are stellar, notably Jungle Book Jive and Mickey's Christmas Big Band. Not all is bleak in Paris!)
