Kara is generally sweet, self-confident, and more often than not has a smile on her face. She calls herself "Supergirl" out of respect and admiration for her cousin and is proud to wear his symbol. Her weakness is that she can lose her temper quickly and has a tendency to be brash in battle.
Karen is much more stern, and tries to give off a more intimidating air than Kara. She's very insecure in herself and has an inferiority complex to Superman. She is very sensitive in general and tends to wear a stoic or grim expression to compensate for it. She is even quicker to fly off the handle than Kara is.
