The kid will turn out well from that alone, the biggest thing we would have to deal with is that we would know our son wished his uncle was his real dad instead of a boring normie. At least until he grew up and was emotionally mature enough to appreciate us for who we are.
Chances are we would be killed off so our kid could have a dramatic moment holding our corpse, breaking him out of his edgy phase, and then Superman would step in to comfort him and Kara as the pseudo-dad.
