>>112435592While true, I cant blame people who face suppression of their narrative in many other facets of life wanting their own "safe space" as it were to be able to discuss their views and beliefs. The problem comes in where by suppressing their ability to discuss these things in the open, often leads them down a path of radicalization. You go from I'm not sure about these identity politics to feeling sorry for the Palestinians who were thrown off their land and finally end up saying the holocaust was a lie. When you feel like you can't discuss what you believe without being labeled a racist (especially when these viewpoints aren't actually racist) you end up feeling like things labeled racist before might not have been exactly what you were told.
