meanwhile if NY was a webcomic on a MWF schedule(which would be easy for Jim to keep to, he's very fast when it comes to his more sketchy art) we probably would have had this whole thing resolved by October or so, not to mention it'd be easier for him to monetize, and he wouldn't have to worry about YouTube content restrictions so he could go full lewd and weird again
