April assuming no delays. They've already started putting out merch of these versions of the characters, so I'm assuming it's on-track. Some guy who leaked shit about it that turned out to be true says that Spidey's exclusive, and not just timed, to the PS4 version, so I can see that upsetting people if it's true.

They said back at the formal reveal at E3 that they've "collaborated with Sony for exclusive content", which is all we know. Is there any confirmation yet that this Avengers game is in the same universe as Insomniac Spidey and Iron Man VR?

That said, Sony and Square Enix are butt buddies, plus we know that Sony have a good relationship with Marvel Games, so I guess it's not so shocking.

None. Granted both series have "Gamerverse" books out but that could be simple branding

Nothing yet, people is mad because they are the MCU Avengers but at the same time they aren't, if you read the prequel comics you will see that they are mostly based on comics, right now they are adapting Armor Wars, you can see villains like Beetle, Absorbing Man and Titania, also a Nick Fury that is black but acts like the white one.

Plus, Hank Pym is part of the game, he's "young" and crazy.

Nothing yet. They already changed Cap and Widow due to fan feedback. They’re also linking it with Spidey PS4 I guess, so maybe we can hope for more solo hero adventure games?

Like can Marvel products outside of the MCU please stop using the MCU as a basis? I know the MCU is what filthy normies think of Marvel is, but the compromises the MCU makes should not carry over to mediums that aren't bound by the limits of live-action movies.

Also, it's only a matter of time before they start over with a fresh new continuity. They can only replace characters for so long before we get D-Man, Sentry, Stingray, 3-D Man, Alpha and America Chavez movies.
