It's cliche to say this, but there's almost no way this plan doesn't end with him becoming the very thing he sought to destroy. Inevitably, every idealist-turned-capitalist will find themselves at the constant impasse between doing what is ethical and what is expedient, and when they choose the former over the latter, their competitors will choose otherwise to gain an edge over them, and then they'll devour them- or else, they'll choose what is expedient just to prevent being devoured, and some naive protestors will rise up in criticism of the policy enacted, and the cycle will perpetuate.
