>>112307627Germany has far better work-life balance than Japan, dude.
Better than the USA, too.
More vacation days, less hours, long parental leave for both parents.
And few things in Japan these days are truly traditional.
They used to be rather chill about nudity, sex and mixed baths until the Victorians barged in and Japan just kinda forgot those practices were just aping the prude Europeans of that time.
So now you have this weird contradiction between strict public morality, ancient traditions of penis festivals and weirdly lewd pop culture.
>>112307776Germany does not enforce morality laws, though. It enforces laws against libel and incitement of violence against any group of people (literally "agitation of the people", so you are free to guess what they had in mind there).
It is entirely legal to say you really don't like someone. It is not legal to say they need to be gassed or to claim they are all murderers or thieves or whatever. Unless the group is convicted murderers, of course. Then you can claim the obvious.
The laws there are very specific in their application, allowing several far-right parties to exist that are clearly xenophobic but do not as a political entity break the law.
