When Christopher Priest brought OG Terra back, he retconned the Judas Contract back into canon (minus changing the ending to have Cyborg not Jericho help Dick rescue the Titans and Dick cutting his "Lazarus Contract" deal with Deathstroke to turn him against HIVE and get him to help rescue the team and having Terra be "presumed dead").
Priest had Terra escape the events of the Judas Contract and go into hiding, since she tried to kill Slade and sided with HIVE. He had Terra mellow out while in hiding until Slade found her and recruited her into his Teen Titans group.
Along the way, Priest explicitly stated Slade and Terra did not have sexual relations, but that they did make out as Terra had a huge crush on Slade, which he used to try and keep her under his thumb. During her time in hiding, Priest had Terra realize her romantic relationship with Terra was wrong and only agreed to work with Slade again after he apologized for making out with her.
