Because when I say "people", I really just mean random people who try to protest the Church and urge for investigations and there are countless documentaries of lawyers going after these people and shutting them down.
There was a case of a pastor in the 70's that basically molested every girl in school and murdered a nun and half the town tried to get him arrested. The Church relocated him and the victims have still been trying to get the Church to make changes to this blind-eye behavior for decades, but they get shut down or red taped.
