reddit isn't "the front page of the internet" because lol le memes
it's literally the front page of the internet, everything is there, and if it's not on show then it's in some weird closed subreddit that's invitation only and never attracts moderation because christ knows reddit's owners don't want to have to call the cops more often than Facebook, even though that would literally be a good thing
it's not 4chan people come to fester on or be extremists on, unless they're idiots with some kind of childish clubhouse mentality: they go everywhere, and they start and end on reddit because it's ubiquitous
you think /d/ are perverts? reddit has them beat
you think /pol/ are edgy teens who shitpost about things they don't really understand because they cherry picked "evidence" to support the first damn thing that seemed like a good idea to them? oh baby, reddit has them beat, and it has better reach, and it's not associated with extremism or child pornography or harassment or any of the shit that Reputable News Sites and your boomer ass think of when 4chan's name comes up
reddit isn't invading, people are just posting like redditors because they are redditors because my fucking god son do you honestly think this is your secret clubhouse or some shit
they're not posting like redditors more now because there are more of them, they're doing it because reddit is more popular and more prevalent and reaches a wider audience: they're doing it because it's successful, and this dead hellshite of a chan, infinitely less damaged and broken than the chan alternatives it spawned or the unpoliced corners of reddit itself, is not successful
they're not posting on your site
you're posting on their internet
