that means, you have write the show like its still the 90s or about to turn 2000. The Humour, Cultural happenings and the People will have to sound like that too.
sure you'll find an audience, but it might be too niche, and it will be damn hard to retain them once the nostalgia wears off.
I think that is the reason why Undergrads, despite all the creator's efforts, had an insanely hard time trying to get season 2 up and running.
