They have a rich dad/inlaw who is a count and owns a hotel who they can always fall back on financially, and the laws of their universe establish that their relationship will remain stable because they are soulmates. Parenthood might not be for everyone, but I think this particular couple is gonna be okay with it, if only mostly for magical reasons.
