the previous "Connie is mad at Steven" arc felt like a really desperate attempt to make her relevant even if it didn't make a whole lot of sense, the problem with Connie is there isn't much to do with her character now especially when they write her as mostly a Fem-Steven if she were reintroduced into Future she'd just be there to support Steven and not do anything that would make her character shine like we'd see in older episodes like Lion 2
