Like, ok, he’s angry at first that he got swindled, and nobody swindles a conman. But don’t have him best buddies with Ben in under two episodes. Drag it out over the course of half the season before some MAJOR event makes him realize that he actually hates what he’s become. Maybe have him just realize mid season that his feelings for Gwen were stronger than just lust and that the only way he can be with her is to change. Or if that’s too lovey dovey for an action cartoon, have him find out his dad was a plumber despite having the same absorbing powers that Kevin has. He then realizes that he doesn’t have to be an outcast if he actually applies himself. There were literally thousands of ways they could have done it. The writers just took the worst ones.
