>>111831820What's sad is that science community can't be that trusted either, thanks to certain social sciences creeping in and injecting politics to take precedence over the search for the nearest thing we can come to a truth. Not even the truth, seeing as science in general is rarely definitive and certain.
But now there's taboos, with teachers, professors and scientists legitimately having their career put at risk if they even dare disagree or put out research and tests that contradict politically correct ones. Which is just pathetic, especially seeing as a single piece of research is not even necessarily proof nor disproof of anything.
And because people have a nigh religious and sometimes fanatic belief in science but lacking the actual understanding of it, it's hard to even shine light on the problem or even point out that very little is definitive and that to even begin getting near an answer you need several, if not more, researches into something to even have a right to claim that a theory is even remotely likely to be valid and correct.
Instead we have a bunch of fucktards running around, thinking a single study or research proves everything else wrong, on both sides admittedly but the the ones claiming to be "For science" is especially annoying.
