>>111733894The thing is Godai has his 2000 talents and has moments that show his intelligence, like figuring out one Gurongi's movement pattern or devising a strategy to use his rider kick for the first time. He's generally competent and you only really see him struggling and scared shitless during his very first transformation into growing form.
Shouichi is pretty competent in terms of housework, cooking etc. and is also introduced as an Agito who is pretty much in control of his powers fully, he only really ever struggles with Burning Form for a minute in one special but he isn't naive or dumb, just a carefree guy (a bit less than Godai, Shouichi has a lot of moments of doubt, fear and general angst in the last part of the show).
Shinji is just a naive fucker. Good intentions, he's genuinely a good guy, but doing stupid shit like letting Scissors know everything about him, letting Ouja fuck him over during his henshin pose, actually thinking he killed Zolda etc.
Granted he gets better in the end but I hate seeing him being kicked around by Ren at the start and generally be the butt of people's jokes. It's a shame because his design is way cooler than Kuuga or Agito in my opinion
