Zuko and Azula go to find their mom alone, with their grievances to each other initially taking center stage as they bicker about the events of ATLA in their own perspectives, both being mildly unreliable narrators about why the other is bad but also revealing things about each other (maybe Ozai being revealed to have treated Azula like shit in private any time she wasn't overly succeeding at something, and Zuko talking about what banishment was actually like for him), and while these things don't make their issues with each other go away, they begin to extend the tiniest shred of trust for one another, saving each others' back in a fight against bandits or some shit, though they still clearly differ in opinions on why Ursa left
Tuns out in the end Ursa was dead long before they even came looking for her, having lived a meager life in exile that she was happy to suffer through to save the lives of her children
There is no satisfying conclusion, there is no catharsis, there is no retarded red herring twist about Ikem, it's just them realizing that they're never going to be handed closure of their issues, and that they're all they have left of their broken little family and if they ever want to feel not shattered as people, they'll need to actually work with each other
Ideally, the 'crazy hallucinationz' stuff would be more walked back to temporary insanity due to overwhelming stress during S3, and she wouldn't actuallt be insane, outside of when extremely manic and sleep-deprived
