I think the show is cute, but I don’t get why they have to narrate actions too. I mean it’s practically a radio play but with paper puppets, but the puppets do exactly what they’re describing. It’s just redundant, and makes hard to even watch the show

I think if they kept the narration to the "board view" then it wouldn't be as superfluous.

I agree though, it can be hard to listen to, it's inconsistent.

And the part where the gang is actually animated further shows they have the ability to animate actions, they just either didn't have the time or chose not to.

Giovanni is basically Papyrus: the initial antagonist that seems like an incompetent tryhard pushover at first, but then turns out to be a pretty decent guy that’s stronger than he lets on

The character design is kinda stupid with the main character having sparkle shit in her hair for no reason and some characters being general copy paste stereotypes, but there’s charms in it that make it tolerable

This show feels like Red vs blue in a budgetary sense. Especially with the Animated scense every now and then. Gio is the best Character hands down. Fragile chick is an ok Villian you understand why she's doing what she does. My question is: why did she train if it caused her more pain in the long run. Wouldn't she have less pain if she didn't develop it? All in all a solid 7/10

She thought she'd learn to control her powers more selectively. Analogy, if someone had fire powers it's natural that training would let them control it, that's like every fire character's training arc ever. But it's totally possible that it's _not_ controllable and training would just increase the flame's output.
