Sonic's family, for example, is good enough with their balance of similarity, compared to Sonic, and difference, perfect to look like unique parents. By the way, Vanilla exists. There's also the Knuckles Clan from SA1, where they can be considered as copy-pasted recolors of Knuckles, and so, this is no exception to the games.

Theses are Sonic characters, despite not following the base reference of Felix the Cat/Sonic himself, by the simple fact they were created for the Sonic franchise.
