>>111612553I love this webm. When you first see the scene in the movie, you just notice a bunch of scientists who bring up their weapons and are about to start shooting at Peter and Miles. But watching just that clip, there's a lot of personality to these background extras.
>the guy on the left was fishing out the last scraps from his junkfood bag, he's wearing overly casual shoes and too short pants at his workplace, he fumbles around trying to find his weapon, and he looks visibly scared; overall he gives the impression that he's some rookie who has no idea what he's doing>the guy who finishes his coffee in a relaxed manner while pulling out his gun in an equally relaxed manner; he's obviously done this a million times before, and the only indication that he's been caught off guard is the way his eyes briefly bulge in surprise>the guys dual-wielding guns while sliding into the frame or striking a completely unnecessary pose; they're so eager to get any kind of excuse to pull off moves from their favorite videogames or Hollywood movies, and Spider-Man's entrance must've made their day>the woman who was pouring insane amounts of sugar into her coffee right before this scene just rolls her eyes in frustration and doesn't bother getting her gun; she's clearly having a terrible day and it just got even more terribleThis scene flashes by so quickly that they didn't have to put that much detail into these random nameless characters. Most people won't even notice it. But they still put some extra work into it, and I find it pretty cool.
