He was in college from 1975-1986 and the New Mutants debuted in 1982; extrapolating from a 4 year collegiate experience for Iceman, the New Mutants debuted 6 years ago in-universe. That would make Karma currently the oldest New Mutant at 25 and Wolfsbane the youngest at 19.
