The Sovs in Deadworld are the best Sovs I've read since Day of Chaos. And probably the most fun since Apocalypse War.
Also, solving the big dramatic subplot about Hershey's daughter in two panels is such a John Wagner move. What a dude.
Diamond Dogs kinda came and went and The Returners had some really good fight scenes this week, but it's all about Lawless coming back. I'm curious to see what they're gonna do to follow up the last book.

Not at all. I like the Urban Dredd better as a movie, but the aesthetics are as far from those gloriously insane Ezquerra (tips whisky) vistas as you can get.

Well Stallone's had a budget to start with. Besides the taking off the helm bit, the city and overall judges capture the attitude of the comics during the 90s pretty well.
