I haven't never read Fraction before Olsen before, so here are my thoughts.
I get what he's doing. I get it. It has good moments, but I'd only keep it in an isolated book like Olsen. I'd never want this type of thing in a regular book, I can't imagine how pre-Fraction Hawkeye-fans (if there were any) took to it. Must have sucked.
It relies too much on OOC behavior to make gags. Like, Bruce, this time.
And the walls of text are downright painful.
It's alright, it does it's own thing, but not only does it show the writer doesn't particularly like superheroes, he doesn't care for comicbook format either.
