>>111447993.Not really a conservative, I am one of those filthy center-left fence-sitters you hear about. Most of my political beliefs are left wing or liberal, but I support Trump, would vote Brexit if I weren't an American, and I regularly watch videos from Steven Crowder, Tim Pool, Sargon of Akkad, PJW, PragerU, etc.
Non-whites don't trigger me by default. It just makes me groan or roll my eyes if an established character of any color has a race change or there is a random black king or queen in a show about medieval Europe, like modern BBC shows. I know nothing about Etheria's past regarding racial relations beyond Horde "the princesses hate furries and scalies!" propaganda, or about their history of LGBT conflicts , if there ever was any conflict to begin with.
Lesbians usually don't do anything for me and when they are put in television, it feels like they are there to fill a quota, create shock value, sex appeal, etc. As a result, lesbian characters and couples always feel really cheap to me. In this show, though, whether or not Catra and Adora are actually a possible lesbian pairing actually goes along with the story very well, and I am a full Catradora shipper. Before this, I have never shipped any two characters unironically.
