Yeah, I watched the whole series in late 2017 and it was pretty good stuff. Shame about the movie ending up being leftist propaganda.

The gender change thing was really out of nowhere, but I don't really care. What I didn't liked about the movie was how fast paced it seemed to be. It was kind of all over the place and I wouldn't really call it anything more than alright.

Does anyone else feel like Ralph got an influx of fans due to the Trans thing? I mean, it seems like a lot of people don't actually like the character, but rather only like Rachel for being trans. I don't know, it just seems to me like that isn't a good enough reason for liking a character. There's this character who's filled with depth, but they didn't care enough to learn his name until he transitioned. Something about it seems disingenuous to me.

The part where they fly around the world on the propeller-couch looking for Rachel could've easily been an entire act of the special, or even a majority of the runtime. But nope, quick montage.

I was surprised at how few jokes were actually in it. Not like the jokes didn't land, but that there were way fewer jokes than I expected. I get that Rocko isn't comedic as something like SpongeBob or Fairly Odd Parents, but still.

It's been a while since I watched the special, so forgive me if I'm misremembering, but weren't Heifer and Filburt played up to be a bit more wacky in the movie? Almost to an out of character extent?

At the very least Filburt. He was not stressing or autistically spazzing about anything, and I expect that change would've been harder for him than for example Rocko.
