Describe him season 1? He's a do-gooder trying to be a rebellious punk and gonna get himself killed if the rebellion doesn't pick him up.
Season 2? Learning the ways of the force, becoming a jedi, finding out who he is, what his talents are, developing his love for animals being a key trait/quirk that stands him apart from other jedi.
Season 3? Flirting with the dark side, questioning his morals, broadening his worldview by accepting to listen to Darth Maul's teaching but ultimately rejecting them.
Seasons 4 and 5? He becomes whatever the plot needs him to be. No matter what the episode's premise is, he becomes the dissenting voice with no consistency.
Sabine's issue is that 1) she's way too competent 100% of the time and 2) her backstory and her writing don't match up at all.
So you're telling me that the mandalorian who acts like a college dropout expressing herself through art is ACKTUALLY a princess and then ALSO was IN FACT a super top of the line WEAPONS ENGINEER that developed NEW KINDS OF DISINTEGRATORS that were then used to single out certain materials like, y'know, BESKAR STEEL? She is a full on alchemical wizard, and a princess, and she uses this knowledge and clout and backstory to... toss some grenades I guess. Maybe paint a picture once a season. What the fuck.
Either lean into a character's backstory and facts about them or trim it, there's no reason for her to be a TOP OF THE LINE WEAPONS ENGINEER CAPABLE OF ALCHEMICAL WIZARDRY and then also A PRINCESS if neither facts are going to come into play in 90% of episodes.
I cannot think of a single other episode outside of the ones where those are front and center the main plot where she develops a new weapon for the rebellion or makes a snide remark about great expectations or how leadership isn't something you're born into.
