>>111062994The hilarious part is that Vivzie can instantly fix the color palette and too many details problem with a few select all and modify frames and assets in whatever digital program this was animated in.
The animation is very bouncy and flowy like Cats Don't Dance, Animaniacs, Wander Over Yonder ... which is honestly shit. We need more physics based animation like Villainous and Tom n Jerry where you can see every action has weight and every action is easy to understand and appreciate. Definitely boring keyframes/stills, the in betweens look much more interesting but they're even faster than Warner Brother, Paramount, Cartoonnetwork, Sony's fastest animations.
Mediocre one note characters you'd expect out of Looney Tunes, Chuck Jones, Hannah Barbera, there's no extra layers to these characters presented in this pilot.
I'm used to 3-parter and 4-parter pilots like Foster's Home ... I'm not used to waiting another 4 years for each episode just to find out where the fuck the idea is going.
I hope the idea doesn't end up being executed badly to in-show expectations.
Almost an interesting cast of characters, namely combining the villain team with the "good guys" team. Might be fun to finally have 2 equal main characters.
So far each character is a clone of each other but in a very loose manner in terms of ROLES.
Alastor might as well be the second Charlie
Nifty might as well be the second Angel Dust
Husker might as well be the second Vaggie
If we add more interesting quirky secondary characters to bounce off of it's going to be even better.
But plot wise, humour wise, character development wise ... I'm expecting something just as weak as any comedy cartoon like SING and Cats Don't Dance and Animaniacs who just cannot work with their characters... I don't think this is going to be a plot-heavy clever well written cartoon if it ever gets picked up. Just like Foster's Home was a disappointment of a slice of life.
