Although honestly, protective isn't a good word to describe it. It's kind of like a "big brother" personality. They fuck with you a lot, but it's all in good spirit. Obviously my experiences are unique to me, but after dating a handful of redheads I've noticed some patterns. Like how I stated earlier, they act like guys, not women. The ones I've dated were, behaviorally speaking, very masculine. They often talk like guys and have many masculine hobbies (vidya, skateboarding, comics, and one was obsessed with weapons, hunting, and collecting historical military objects) were extremely common. Personally, this is what attracted me the most. I've dated a lot of women, but almost none consistently act as masculine as redheads. This makes them incredibly easy to talk to and we genuinely share the same interests and opinions on other forms of media. They are intimidating at first, but most of them like being treated as if they were a guy. One even told me something along the lines of, "Guys talk to girls so much differently than guys. It's annoying. If you want to talk, just talk how you actually talk and act... and stuff. I want someone to be real. Like you, [Anon]." That basically confirmed my thoughts at the time when I started noticing these patterns.
And for some more... "details" about redheads. They're very switchy in bed. It's actually funny because there's like no in between. Sometimes they're very dominant, (choking you, being on top, pulling your hair, etc.) or very submissive (being choked, blindfolded, groped, etc.) I don't know if this has something to do with hormones or something, but they're usually very "adventurous" in bed. Again, these are my personal experiences, maybe I just had some weird cosmic one in a million coincidence or something, but every redhead I dated was like this.
