i'm just telling a fact. more than religion the number one reason anti LGBT sentiment exists is because they spout respecting their sexual choices and don't respect the choices of those who aren't choosing to participate in LGBT relationships.
yes in the dating world persistence pays off, but lying about your transsexual status is rape and continuing to try to pick up straight members of your chosen sexual preference is sexual harassment once you've been told to stop. and this is the reason so much anti LGBT sentiment exists.
