In my opinion Korra is really bad and in terms of tone and writing is nothing like TLA
But there's still a chance you might like it so I guess if you really want more of the avatar universe you could give it a watch

I'd say no.
There are some good bits, but the overall quality doesn't measure up to the original.
There is no strong overarching story/theme and a lot of the original cast get treated pretty badly.

Eeehhhh... You'll probably like Season 1 (Not for Korra), but the last episode will ruin all good will built up to that point. Everything is a mess both narrative and character wise to the point that this feels like some bizarre reboot and sequel at the same time, if you know what I mean.
