It's the worst, most boring way, even worse than the rest of this list. For all the best moments in Steven Universe, there's a lot of stuff where it's just not that good. It's just not that good. It's just…not okay.
It also brings to light how much the series still has that '90s vibe about it. I know I'm biased because I spent a lot of time in a time machine, but it's just the type of thing you'd expect from a series like this. The pacing. The writing. The story. The animation. The animation. The music. It just…came out as, 'You're going to love this!' and 'I'm sure you will.' And the more you think about it, the more you realize it's not a bad thing. It's just…it just might lack a little something. It might even lack something worth loving.
