I can't in 100% honesty say I still like them since I simply haven't seen them in years, but I think some of his reviews from, like, 2009 and before (and maybe some reviews after? Dunno exactly what came out when) were entertaining enough as dumb youtube review things. They were generally pretty short and didn't have the vibe that he was trying to be super serious or make an Important Point or whatever, like someone just watching a shitty movie and making jokes about it.
But again, have not watched/rewatched anything he's done in years (stopped a while before his "team" and skits etc. even showed up) and I think I'd definitely find even the older stuff less funny now. I just think when it was clearly just a thing done as a hobby and taken less seriously it was easier to watch, and generally of higher quality than most other shitty youtube reviews.
