Is anyone else really dissatisfied with how J. Jonah Jameson has been portrayed in recent media? In both the recent PS4 game and his cameo in Far From Home he’s shown as an Alex Jones type, an internet radio host who’s constantly angry and seems like a terrible person. In the comics and hell, even the Raimi films, though, there’s a heart of gold underneath the outer layer of asshole, something that seems really lacking in newer incarnations. Am I just crazy for being dissatisfied or does anyone else feel like they’ve fucked his character up?
