>>110461591Earth would have been colonized no matter what. If anything it was lucky it was Pink - mercurial, unpredictable, flighty - rather than Blue or Yellow, who would have simply done the job.
Probably Blue since there's so much water.
>>110461639- A one thousand year war.
- They are pawns. It would not have made any difference what she did. It's just that in this scenario, the pawns are fighting for something worthwhile. Also, this way she could poof and bubble the warriors, so one day they could be restored - rather than having them shattered.
- NOT using the shatterpoint shows she cared about life more than the (extremely remote) possibility of an 'easy' victory. Of course you, like Bismuth, are a moron who does not understand the shatterpoint would have served to divide her own troops and galvanize Homeworld's warriors.
- There is no reason to assume Pink knew anything about the Diamond's "corruption song". Even the Diamonds themselves didn't know that much about it, and why would they? It would never have been necessary to use it before.
Even so, Pink did not believe the other Diamonds cared that much about a single planet. Her whole play was based on the hope they would go "Oh, fuck it, this is not worth the effort" and move on.
- She sacrificed everything in the cause of the revolution and to help life on Earth, down to her own identity. She tried to save the corrupted gems, but as Pearl indicated - she could not. It was beyond her power, as it was beyond Steven's.
You want to see it as ugly and vile as possible, in a show where everybody gets redeemed.
The only reason Pink Rose seems this bad is because she is not around to explain or defend her actions. And why isn't she around? Because she gave up her life to have her son be born.
Go watch 'Rick and Morty'. It's more suited to you.
