Now, I DO have a problem with children being encouraged to do drag shows and shit. I am also against kids being in beauty pageants. Now, the only problem I actually HAVE with transsexuals is the fact that medically we aren't at a place where it is as effective as what I would say makes surgery a viable option. We also need to explore therapy as a way to cope with the issues these people face. Encouraging someone to mutilate themselves, (and that is what is happening) is not a good idea. So I do have a problem with media portraying that. But, while it is something that the left advocates I don't believe that makes it "leftist" show if they have it. I dont think people should be encouraged to have the operation, but they should be supported if they want to go through with it. In a few decades we can actually encourage it, once we get there. We aren't realistic enough in our portrayal of the consequences. These people don't deserve scorn, but they do deserve being cautioned.
