I cannot emphasize this enough. Maybe in the Mortal Folly/Recoil series he was, but even that's kinda debatable as you don't really have "suitors" when you're a kid, and he was equally something of a playmate. Regardless, PB never had to refute something she never took seriously in the first place. It's like you're expecting a teacher having to sit down with the kid with a crush on her and say "Listen, this is never going to work."

But more importantly, this whole rant smells of so much self insert it's maddening. All it is is one big "BUT WHAT ABOUT FINN??" complaint. As if the most important thing about his character is him getting with one of the show's chicks.
