For example, Bart would ask if "Huggankess, Amanda" were there, and Moe would ask the bar "I'm looking for Amanda Huggenkess," not realizing it was a homophone for "I'm looking for a man to hug and kiss." When Moe clued in, he would threaten Bart in over-the-top ways.
Don't worry, it's understandable that someone wouldn't get this gag. The Simpsons stopped using it before a lot of /co/'s userbase was born.
