>>110076643She turned quickly and saw no one was there. She stares at the empty doorway. She rubs her head. The throbbing coming back with a vengeance. Apparently Mimi’s headbanging ringing in her hologram ears.
Wait... the sound is coming from the halls.Grating metallic clanging heard in the distance.
No doubt her stalker. The noise was getting farther away. Perhaps she could ignore it. But the other option was to continue cleaning erasers with-
BANG BANG BANG.
Mimi continuing to slam her head against the window. Tak’s hologram stuttered as she pulled down on her antennas.
Maybe death wasn’t as morally reprehensible as Ms.Bitters put it.
>”Ahhhh!”Tak shook with rage. She let go of her anntenas and ran into the halls. She could still hear the metal clanging. Her disguise corrected itself, and she chased after the sound.
She made a sharp left turn. Hearing the metal stop, and immediately start clanging faster.Whatever it was, it was moving faster. She sped up. Chasing the sound with the proficiency of an Irken Elite (like she should have been). Another sharp left
turn.It was moving too fast. The sound was fading away.
>”Mimi!”Her sir appeared running besides her.
>”Track down that sound.”It saluted, and immediately flew past her. Another sharp left turn. And she saw her sir slam head first into a locker knocking rows of them over.
>”Ugh!” She slapped her face. She gestured to it hands open. “Mimi the sound!” It saluted again and paused.>”Sound detected!” Mimi reported. It flew into a classroom behind Tak out the window.>”What...? Ughh never mind!” She climbed over the lockers. And made one last left turn.
Back to her class room...They just ran in a circle. No trace of the clanging. At least her head wasn’t throbbing. She walked back into the class to at least pretend she had nothing to do with the lockers. She noticed a note on her desk.
>“Come to these coordinates at this time. We have much to discuss. Tell no one.”
