>>110053609Omitting the fun eps, plot:
>S4: Season theme is the conflict between Morty and Rick beginning to bubble up because Morty tried to separate himself from Rick. High concept sci-fi rigamarole with the other characters serving as the naive happy Morty replacement.
Season conclusion either has them make up and hug it out after some ridiculous non-evil-morty shit forces them together, despite that their relationship falling apart. They need each other.
>S5-6: Two year Timegap. Morty graduates from school and Jerry wants him to go to high school, Rick wants him to drop out. Use this to reignite family drama.
Season ending twist is Rick fucked it up so bad that he's leaving Beth and Rick behind, and he's moving with Morty to a universe with another Rick and Morty who he's got some leverage over, so now there are two Ricks and two Morties.
Reintroduce evil Morty, but make Tammy and federation the focus. Mr. Poopybutthole's cat dies.
>S7-9: Pull an Archer and change the status quo every season dramatically. With a second universe to play with where the family has been left reeling, Jerry starts investigating Rick's science shit and becomes a major player too, somehow.
Increasing conflict between Evil Morty and crew. Start killing off characters, and bring back ANYONE who's been named. Focus on a few alt-earth-worlds instead of many. Evil Morty is killed.
Kill the original Jerry, Morty two, and Beth two off as a gut punch to end season 9.
>S10100% Drama shit. The surviving Beth 1 and Jerry 2 now hate rick, and get together. The Summers fight to the death, one loving the other hating Rick. Original Rick and Morty fight.
Original Morty wins. Time passes.
Mr. Poopybutthole's funeral. Morty inherits his journal. We get the "real" Rick backstory as a 3 episode series, at least as MPB saw it. Morty cries, he needs a Rick. He teleports to the universe with second Rick. He becomes his Morty. They portal away to go on an adventure.
End show.
