Why are you bringing up Marvel? People can be skeptical about this movie without being 'Disney drones'. From the reviews it sounds like it makes Joker a likeable antihero instead of the villain he's supposed to be.

I didn't mind that scene much because it was mostly implied (you only see him take the box with him to the bathroom, then drop it at the table after he's done), but I gotta say, his long ass rant about "holes" (referring to women) and how they're breeding factories really took me out of it. Specially when everyone was cheering, even the women themselves. Crazy.

Wait that's not actually an existing artistic concept? How? Figuratively you pick up the rubbles, the shit that caused the collapse (you don't just ignore it), and you build with them. Kingdom Come has its issues but it's Waid's mildly retarded attempt at it. I'm sure there are more obvious examples. The Brave and The Bold Batman cartoon might be a better example.

That's not what that means. "Deconstruction" isn't about your character going to shit, it's about deconstructing a genre (or more generally an artistic concept). In the case of cape comics it's shedding light on the darker aspects that might have only be implied before. Like maybe being Batman isn't a healthy thing. There's nothing wrong with it per se, what's tiring is it being praised as refreshing or even revolutionary when that shit's been happening for at least 30 years.
Rocky is a pretty fantastic movie though.

This is taking the movie The Outlaw Josey Wales, except now he's dressed as The Crow and calls himself the Crow. Except in this case you've taken a Scorsese movie from 1983 about a stand-up comedian.

WB should re-film There Will Be Blood, but now the main character is bald and named Lex Luthor.

It's not THAT divorced from it, anon. Think of it this way, it's like sampling, the guy sampled some bits he liked from some movies and some bits of what (little) he knew of the Joker. It might be a lazy remix, I'll have to watch it to find out, but I can understand why they made it a Joker movie.
