>>109554435If anything, I like how the family genuinely loves each one another unlike Family Guy. An example is how Linda doesn't berate her kid's interests, she encourages and shows a lot of fun enthusiasm for it (even Bob's pretty passive rather than outright abrasive like most.) The kids are willing to help each other out and stop things when it goes to far.
The show even subverts expectations like how Teddie and the kids are caught outside of the restaurant and trying to lie about still being at home. Some episodes are a little infuriating like how Jimmy Pesto gets away with cheating on a game show, but it just goes to show that the main characters don't always win.
Basically it's pretty comfy and down to earth.
