Fast paced spinny battle shit doesn't excite me. It bores me because
- they couldn't come up with anything actually unique or cool
- I can't tell what's going on for most of it

In the manga this scene is quite simple. It's the studio who add flashy effect to impress fans and attract new watchers. For a battle shonen anime, this strategy works most of the time. Personally I prefer simpler scene in the manga, especially knowing what's going to happen next.
