One thing I've always hated about the "normal" Batman design is the exposed mouth. It's just so stupid for a non-powered hero that regularly gets into melee combat.
Unless he's got a room in his mansion dedicated to dentures I suppose.

Honestly who fucking cares what the official design is every little artist wants to make a few tweaks but it really doesn't fucking matter if it's a black designs with a little bit of yellow on it and that's it okay it barely looks like a fucking bat and you guys think that these tiny little fucking tweaks make a difference if doesn't fucking matter get over it's just a fucking costume that never changes.
