Arin posted a bunch of bullshit about how Pelo's animation was mean spirited, how Pelo was a bully, how he was made fun of similarly when we was a young animator and he never learned anything from it, etc. He also sort of threw Newgrounds under the bus, insinuating that because several NG animators liked Pelo's animation, Pelo's animation was cruel and mean like certain animations on NG.
Cue literally everyone calling Arin out on his bullshit - his entire career was predicated on poking fun at various forms of vidya and game related media. Arin starts trending on Twitter and shits his pants. He posts an embarrassing and clearly self-serving "apology," saying his past should be forgiven because it was different, that no one deserves to be made fun of, that his words hurt people, etc. Old acquaintances like Spazkid and Oney were among the ones to call him out; JohnnyUtah, BlueBreed, and even fucking Shad got in on it.
Then he posts some bullshit video on his new "Grumps" channel talking about how GameGrumps is taking backseat to whatever asinine adventures he engages on in the future (I believe one suggestion he read was a Japanese-style gameshow).
