Same for her uniform, maybe she washes it a few times but no matter what, she get's it dirty every time, they are visual cues.
Her shoe though is much more confusing, her early designs show her with both shoes, I guess it was a conscious last moment decision since it seems she just HAD to lost her shoe and the audience had to be remembered every time she lacks a shoe.
