Yes, if you like black comedy and mindless action.
Season 1 is the best
Season 2 is pretty good
Season 3 gets bogged down (pun intended) in Angelville
I hope they manage to top themselves in season 4. I miss fun-loving Cassidy from season 1.

I know I'm gonna get /pol/'d for this but it lacks the moral center the comic had. The expanded roles of the angels in season 1 is the only thing I think the show did better.

Decent cinematography.
Only superficially resembles Preacher. Every character and event is changed to the point of being unrecognizable.

If you can stand that, then go for it. If like me, you wonder why they bother "adapting" things if they have no intention to even remotely stick to the source material, then just read the books and pretend the show doesn't exist.

I never read the comics. Show was pretty entertaining, but I feel like they are losing the thread - random shit happens but there doesn't seem to be any point. Like there's this whole plot with Hitler that took 2 seasons and doesn't matter.

Naw. Jesse and Arseface are grating sometimes, Cass is fucking great, but on rewatching the series you can skip literally every scene with Tulip in it and it improves the show by about two out of ten.

Cass is just a messier Rudy, and I know for a fact Gilgun has range, so he's just wasted in this.

Jesse is a limp noodle and Arseface's story got all sorts of fucked up.

Tulip is worse than all of them combined, but you know what made me drop the show right then and there? I held on hate-watching until S3E1, when I saw what they did to Tulip's dad. I just ragequit the fucking thing.
