His high pitched voice combined with his gigantic eye made him too cute and funny looking.

This must've been scary fuckin news to the Monsters U staff, who now have to revamp the entire curriculum because Scarers are no longer in demand and scary monsters now aren't equipped to handle the jobs Monsters Inc is hiring for. And Mike spearheaded the program.

So it turns out Mike is actually the scariest monster of them all.

I mean it sucks but you have to remember that scaring was already becoming less viable to a point that they had to use new illegal means to extract scares.

Scaring was going to become relevant out of nowhere again. If Mike didn't come up with laughing scaring was just going to be replaced with a less ethical and more immoral energy practice.

Hell, at least laughter NEEDS monsters. The machine Randell and Waternoose was using needed only only one person to operate and no skills. It's the sort of machination of work that is killing human labor.

Mike helped create jobs if anything.
