I've been making collages over in >>108320767
and the best I can pinpoint is around 2009. There were rumors from ~2008 that WB's president got pissed off at them for running at a cost, and especially since their most popular titles didn't have the media adaptation rights controlled by WB. Contracts changed, and old talent fled them.
